Job DescriptionHealth System Highlights: As a level 1A health system, our 551 bed twin facilities and 8 outreach clinics makes Central Arkansas VA among the nation’s largest and most complex. Equipped with a full range of medical, surgical, and ancillary support you will provide the highest levels of interdisciplinary care. Every member of our team works towards one unified goal, to provide the best patient and family care experience possible to all those who have BRAVELY served in our Armed Forces. Join our 4 current MD’s, our 3 Midlevel providers, and our clinical care team of around 12 support staff and together lead our Gastroenterology program to new and greater heights.

Little Rock is the capital city located in Central Arkansas and boasts the best of urban, suburban, and rural life. Arkansans' enjoy their weekends exploring the city’s attractions, festivals, and events. We also adventure through the hundreds of amazing outdoor activities throughout the area. With a National Airport reachable in a 15-minute drive, Little Rock is also a great place to live while exploring the nation.
Work Load:
- Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
- 4 days per week in the GI Lab, 4-6 procedures per day.
- 1/2 day per week in clinic, starting at 6 patients per clinic.
- 1/2 day per week administrative, education, and research if interested.
- 1/5 shared inpatient consult service and call coverage, approximately 4-8 patients per day, with Resident and Fellow support.
- Hospitalist team covers all admission and discharge responsibilities.
- Reduced clinic and lab loads during inpatient consult days.
Comp & Benefits:
- Potential starting base salary range: $375,000 - $400,000
