Description

*Employment Type:* Part time *Shift:* Day Shift *Description:* To provide physical therapy services to outpatient rehabilitation in compliance with policies and procedures established by the Medical Center and/or the Rehabilitation Services Department.

**Essential Functions:**
* Meets Health System's Guiding Behaviors and Caring Standards including interpersonal communication and professional conduct expectations.
* Demonstrates knowledge and skills to competently care for all assigned age groups (Neonate, Child, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric as applicable).
* Revenue Management Ensure the accuracy of documenting services and supplies provided to the patients.
* Provides direct and indirect supervision of PTA, PT aides and volunteers.
* Performs initial evaluation, develops and implements treatment plan based upon individual needs of each patient.
* Completes required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
* Provides quality patient care in conjunction with educational training of the patient, family members and other supportive personnel.
**Skills, Knowledge, Education and Experience:**
* Licensed in the State of Florida as a Physical Therapist.
* B.S. degree or higher in Physical Therapy.
* American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.
* One year as a registered physical therapist in an acute care facility and program development preferred.
* Ability to work independently.
* Interpersonal communication skills in a team or interdisciplinary work situation.
* Knowledge of personal computers
