Who You Are:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Insulating Glass Technician to join our glass production team.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Operate machinery and equipment for the fabrication of insulating glass units (IGUs), including glass washers, spacer applicators, and sealant machines.
• Inspect raw glass for defects before and during production.
• Measure and cut glass accurately to specified dimensions.
• Seal and press units using approved methods and materials.
• Ensure all IGUs meet quality standards and production requirements.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report malfunctions to maintenance or supervisors.
• Assist in inventory management of glass, spacers, sealants, and other materials.
• Perform daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs promptly.

Skills you bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment; glass industry experience preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measurer.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment (standing, lifting up to 75 lbs).
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed.
