OVERVIEW

The Front End Driver is responsible for safely operating a front end truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight (GVW) in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. The Front End Driver is part of the Collection team and reports directly to the Commercial Operations Supervisor and General Manager of Collection Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate a front end truck
• Lift and empty front load containers
• Properly track and document on electronic activity log
• Report all issues or incidents to the Commercial Operations Supervisor
• Pre- and post-trip inspections on vehicle
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the US
• CDL-B
• Department of Transportation medical certificate
• Not prohibited from driving via FMCSA Clearinghouse
• Safe driving record
• Negative drug and alcohol test result
• Previous experience driving a front end truck
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong communication skills
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work overtime and on weekends, when necessary
