Description

The Front End Driver is responsible for safely operating a front end truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight (GVW) in Mercer, Burlington and Camden Counties. The Front End Driver is part of the Liberty Waste & Recycling team and reports directly to the General Manager of Liberty Waste & Recycling.

Essential Functions

• Safely operate a front end truck
• Lift and empty front load containers
• Properly track and document on electronic activity log
• Report all issues or incidents to the General Manager of Liberty Waste & Recycling
• Pre- and post-trip inspections on vehicle
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the US

• CDL-B
• Department of Transportation medical certificate
• Not prohibited from driving via FMCSA Clearinghouse
• Safe driving record
• Negative drug and alcohol test result
• Previous experience driving a front end truck
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong communication skills
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work overtime and on weekends, when necessary
