Position: Certified Nurse Aide

Location: Honolulu, HI (Onsite)

Pay: $24/hour

Experience: At least 6 months of CNA work experience preferred; geriatric or rehab care experience is a plus.

Education: High school diploma or GED required. Current, active CNA license in the State of Hawaii.

Type: Full-time or Part-time; Contract

Schedule:

• Day Shift: 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM
• Evening Shift: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Night Shift (NOC): Starts at 8:00 PM

Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality, compassionate care to residents in both private apartments and long-term care settings. This role is essential in supporting residents with daily needs and ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety.

Job Description:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Deliver respectful, compassionate care in alignment with residents' Service Plans.
• Accurately measure and record vital signs; promptly report changes in condition.
• Maintain confidentiality while ensuring detailed and accurate documentation.
• Respond promptly to call lights, resident requests, and emergency alerts.
• Provide emotional support, companionship, and light housekeeping to enhance resident well-being.
• Monitor and report incidents, safety concerns, or unusual behaviors to nursing staff or supervisors.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in compliance with health and safety standards.

Position Requirements:

• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional team player.
• Self-motivated and attentive to both resident care and overall safety.
